Quintero is one of the few Cuban brands that were not born in the city of Havana. Their founders, AgustÃn Quintero and its brothers installed their factory in the City of Cienfuegos, (Street of Clonet, 16,) city also called the Perl it of the South in years 20 of the last century, one of the more beautiful and prosperous harbor cities of the coast of the south of Cuba.
Quintero became an important trade name of export and got to be very popular between the Spanish lovers of the pure Cuban Cigar habano, after the factory was transferred to Havana in 1940. Nowadays they are manufactured in the factory the El Rey del Mundo, C/ San Carlos 816, Havana.
